Tuesday 2


The last Margarita, I mean Berta. Este trago es suavecito y se llama Berta, se hace con 7 gotitas de tequila, limon, agua mineral y miel. Cuando un mexicano se enamorò de Margarita bautizò el trago en honor a ella. Y a este otro se dice que lo nombrò en honor a la prima de Margarita, Berta. Bye bye Mexico de mis amores!

Sunday 31


The Colonial Cities Circuit finishes. We come back to Mexico DF. I visited the Presidential Palace where the famous artist Diego Rivera painted his murals.

Saturday 30


Patzcuaro in the morning and Morelia in the afternoon. At night the Cathedral is illuminated and fireworks welcome the tourists. Spectacular vision!

Friday 29


In Dolores Hidalgo we admired two great icons: Don Miguel Hidalgo (father of independence) and José Alfredo Jimenez, famous songwriter: El Rey, Ella, No me amenaces...

Thursday 28


After visiting the Colonial Cities of Queretaro and San Miguel de Allende we went to the Sheraton Hotel bar to watch the Mariachis show. While drinking some margaritas a group of Mariachis sang to me some beautiful rancheras.

Wednesday 27


At last my dream come true. two hours far the city is Teotihuacan, the Aztecs' City! and the Amazing Pyramids: Templo de Quetzatzcoal. Piramides de la Luna y el Sol. I have the sun bathing my face! I can feel the connection!

Tuesday 26


In the morning we visited Cuernavaca city and in the afternoon Taxco, the first exporter of silver in Mexico. I had enchiladas verdes for lunch ( tortilla de maiz, rellena de pollo, con salsa verde, crema de queso en polvo acompañado de frijoles y guacamole)

Monday 25


After a long night without food I'm hungry! We wake up very early and get a big breakfast, I ordered orange juice, a cup of tea (Mexicans call it "black tea") toasts, eggs and bacon and croissants. Then, we change dollars to Mexican Pesos to go downtown and shop some souvenirs. I love shopping!

It's Sunday evening. What a long trip! We complete 27 hours travelling. First, from Diego to Stgo by bus. Then, we took the flight in LAN Airlines from Stgo to Mexico. A van was waiting for us at Mexico airport and straight to the NH Hotel. I only want to sleep!
